Survivors, community members, organizations, and providers look to the Susan G. Komen® Northwest Ohio for relevant and accurate breast health/breast cancer information and resources. Through its 2015-2016 community and small grants, Komen Northwest Ohio is investing over $500,000 in education, screening, diagnosis, treatment and support programs in our 24 county service area. Since it was founded in 1999, Komen Northwest Ohio has invested $11 million in local breast health agencies and organizations.
The funds have made a positive difference in the lives of those living with this deadly disease. From May 2015 to April 2016, grant programs funded by Komen Northwest Ohio will provide over 3,700 quality breast health care services to underserved, uninsured or underinsured individuals throughout Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan.

· Free and low cost screening, diagnostics, and treatment
· Healthcare provider education
· Mobile mammography screening
· Patient education
· Survivorship support
· Transportation assistance
· Treatment support
· Work and resources in culturally competent outreach, specifically to the Amish and Mennonite populations
