Become an Advocate

Susan G. Komen is the voice for the more than 3.1 million breast cancer survivors and those who love them. Together with partners in our communities, we work to ensure that the fight against breast cancer is a priority among policymakers in Washington, D.C., and in Columbus.

House Bill 286, a palliative care bill, was passed on Dec. 6 with the vocal support of our Komen advocates and voices! This bill will identify and support palliative care for patients, especially those living with metastatic breast cancer, delivering the maximum quality of life. Let’s keep the fight going!

Here’s how you can help!

1. Add your voice to these critical issues and help lawmakers and policymakers do what is best for breast cancer patients.

2. Take action by signing up today to receive alerts when a local issue needs your voice and learn more about the rights of breast cancer patients with this informative graphic!

3. Join us for Advocacy Days in Ohio to support access to high quality and affordable care for metastatic breast cancer patients.

4. Donate today to help Susan G. Komen Columbus continue to advocate for breast cancer patients and their families.

Thank you in advance for your generosity this holiday season. You’re part of what makes our community great!
