What is a Team?

• A team consists of 10 or more people.
• Team members do not have to participate in the same events on Race day.
• Teams can be co-ed and can include children of all ages. Kids for the Cure and Sleep In for the Cure participants can also register as team members.

Teams are the backbone of the Komen Northwest Ohio Race for the Cure®. Team captains have proven to be incredible leaders in helping us make the Race more successful every year and further our mission to end breast cancer forever! T.E.A.M. means “Together Everyone Achieves More” and leadership is essential to build a great team! 2009 RACE TEAMS ARE FORMING NOW!

By registering your team online you can recruit team members, collect pledge donations, track your team’s progress and communicate with your team.

10 friends, $10 dollars!

Join us for the 10 friends, $10 dollars initiative. It’s an easy way to help raise $100 for Komen Northwest Ohio. A $100 donation can provide services such as:

• One mammogram
• Four guidebooks for newly diagnosed breast cancer patients
• Multilingual educational materials
• Community outreach programs
